Gear for the PCT hike

Gear.

I could spend hours boring you to tears with every spec, weight, and pro/con of every piece of gear. Because that’s what PCT hikers become: Gear Geeks and Weight Weinies. Instead, I’ll just post a list and some pics. You will probably notice that Charisse and I pretty much use the same gear, with slight variations for size and gender. You may also notice an attempt at color coding some of our gear. Very loosely, it’s green for the Marine (Tim), and blue for you (Charisse). Not very clever, but it works for us.
Please feel free to post questions and comments!

    1. Haha! We didn’t either until we started exploring this backpacking world. It all looked/sounded pretty weird to us…you’re going to drink out of a bladder? WHAT?? 😉 It’s right around the corner, for sure, and we will miss you, Troy, and Riley! So glad you’ll be “coming along with us” on our adventure. 🙂
